Here is where I put my new batteries. It works great as it makes my weight and balance perfect, 11.25 aft of datum (empty).

It was real difficult to keep the nose wheel on the ground and get 150 lbs of goods in the baggage comparment at gross.

The batteries are two 18 amp hour sealed lead acid (made by Power Sonic). It takes about 30 lbs out of baggage and puts it up in front on the firewall. The batteries can be mounted in any position.
